Good Luck to Nurse Rachel!
From the day our doors opened at NEFATC I knew this was going to be more than a job. The past 9 years have been rewarding to me in a way words can never express. Personally, my daughter’s life changed forever due to OIT. As one of our first patients, she has been in maintenance for over 8 years eating 3 peanuts a day. Professionally, I have never worked with such a dedicated and amazing group. A special thanks to Dr. Mendelson, he was my colleague, my mentor, and my friend. There is no doubt he made me a better person and a better nurse. But most importantly, I want to thank the patients and families who allowed me to be part of their OIT journey. Every day I’m in awe of the sacrifices families make to help their children. You and your children are nothing short of AMAZING! So, the rumors are true. I’m retiring from NEFATC. Thank you all for your kindness and well wishes. I feel truly blessed to have been part of the NEFATC family. Best, Rachel
